OUYA was created in 2012 by Julie Uhrman, a video game industry veteran who saw an opportunity to open up the last closed game platform — the TV. Ouya is a new kind of video game console and it became one of the most successful Kickstarter projects ever, with tens of thousands of backers pledging to help bring OUYA to life.
On their launch date, Ouya wanted to be featured on Amazon. The client wanted a full page dedicated to their product. The challenge was meeting their brand standards while remaining true to Amazon's brand standards.
The solution was pulling some of the basic elements from Ouya's branding for the header and keeping the layout minimalistic and simple. Highlighting the key features that sets this console apart from the rest was important to the client. As a result we broke it down into three categories that would help to sell their product to their clientele.
